M-21 #60-6940 is on display at the Seattle Museum of Flight in Tukwila, WA. This is the only remaining M-21 Blackbird, and one of only two constructed (the other being #60-6941). With 80 flights and 123.9 flight hours, this aircraft is the least flown of the remaining Blackbirds. This M-21 was never used for D-21 launches, and mostly as a D-21 ferry vehicle and chase plane for launches with M-21 #941. M-21 #940, along with A-12 #927, is one of two remaining Blackbirds that feature a black and bare metal paint scheme. These photos were taken on 27 July 2006.
